About us
Weighing engineers, based in Tema
We build and maintain the scales that decide what our customers get paid. That responsibility shapes how we specify, install and service every system.
One supplier, from the truck gate to the laboratory bench
WeighTech supplies, installs, calibrates and services weighing equipment for industry in Ghana and the wider West African region. Our workshop and parts store sit in Community 10, Tema - minutes from the port and the motorway, which is exactly where our customers' trucks are.
The range runs from 120-tonne truck weighbridges down to analytical balances reading to a tenth of a milligram, with platform scales, crane scales, counting benches, load cells and weighbridge software in between. Handling all of it under one roof means every number across your site is traceable to the same standard.
Most of our work is repeat business and referral. That only happens when the equipment still reads true three years after the invoice, which is why we push service contracts harder than we push new steel.
The brand we represent

WeighTech supplies, installs, calibrates and services Mettler Toledo weighing equipment across Ghana and West Africa. Representing one manufacturer rather than a shelf of unrelated imports is a deliberate choice: our engineers know the equipment properly, the parts we stock actually fit, and a repair keeps the instrument to the standard it left the factory with.

How we work
Four things we will not compromise on
- Accuracy is not negotiable
- A scale that reads 1% light on a 30-tonne load gives away 300 kg every trip. We calibrate against certified weights and issue the certificate, whether or not anyone asks to see it.
- Specify honestly
- If a 60-tonne bridge does your job, we will not quote 100 tonnes. If a portable system is the wrong answer for daily traffic, we say so before you buy it.
- Own the whole job
- Survey, foundation design, installation, calibration and service come from the same team. Nothing gets passed to a subcontractor you never met.
- Be reachable
- Weighbridges fail at the worst moment. A phone number that a real engineer answers is worth more than a warranty document.
