Pit-Type Weighbridge
Flush-mounted weighbridge for sites where space is tight and vehicles must approach from any angle.
Overview
A pit-type weighbridge sits level with the yard surface, so trucks drive straight on without ramps. Where you have limited length between a gate and a building, or vehicles that need to turn on and off the deck from more than one direction, this is usually the only design that fits.
The trade-off is civil work: the pit needs a properly drained, reinforced concrete chamber. We design that chamber with a sump and access covers so the load cells stay dry and reachable, which is exactly where cheaper installations fail after two rainy seasons.
Decks are supplied in modular sections with the same digital load cells and terminal options as our pitless range.
